2. When This Policy Applies

This policy applies to personal data we use to run The £50 Experiment giveaway, operate this website, provide the Orion Stock Screener and communicate about these services.

Instagram, TikTok and other external services have their own privacy policies. Their handling of information on their platforms is not controlled by ORION RICH.

3. Information We Collect

Depending on your interaction with the giveaway, we may collect:

• Your social-media username, public profile information, platform and giveaway interaction.
• The date, time and record of your entry, including whether it is valid.
• Messages you send to ORION RICH about the giveaway.
• If selected as a winner, evidence of age, UK residency and identity where reasonably required.
• If selected as a winner, the bank details needed to make the GBP prize payment.
• Limited technical and security information generated when you use this website, such as server logs.
• For screener accounts: your email address, account identity, sign-in sessions and access invitation.
• Your private screener presets, scan settings and history, saved candidates, rejected assets and optional rejection notes.

4. How We Use Information

We use personal data only where reasonably necessary to:

• Administer entries across Instagram and TikTok and prevent duplicate, automated or fraudulent entries.
• Maintain the entrant pool while the experiment is active.
• Run and evidence random winner selection for completed milestones.
• Contact, verify and pay selected winners.
• Respond to questions, protect the website and meet legal obligations.
• Sign you into the screener, verify your invitation and keep your saved screening workspace available across devices.

5. Lawful Bases

We generally rely on our legitimate interests in running a fair giveaway, preventing fraud, protecting the website and keeping records of valid winner selection. We balance those interests against your rights and use only the data needed for those purposes.

Where applicable, we also process information to meet legal obligations or to make a prize payment after a winner has accepted it.

6. Retention

The entrant pool may be retained until the experiment ends on 25 August 2036, because a draw may occur when each take-profit milestone is completed. We will then delete or anonymise entry records when they are no longer needed for administration, disputes or legal obligations.

Winner payment and verification records may be retained for longer where reasonably necessary for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention or legal purposes.

Screener records are stored with your account until you request their deletion. You can restore rejected assets, delete saved presets and export your screener data from the dashboard. Contact contact@orion-rich.com to request account or workspace deletion.

7. Sharing and Transfers

We do not sell personal data or use it for unrelated marketing. We may share information only with providers needed to operate the giveaway, such as website hosting and storage providers, a random-selection tool, payment providers and professional advisers where necessary.

Social-media platforms and service providers may process information outside the UK. Where this applies, they are responsible for the safeguards described in their own privacy information.

The screener uses Vercel for hosting and Neon for authentication and database storage. Saved screening decisions are private to your account. Market-data providers receive the requested market symbols, without your rejection notes or email address.

8. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to our use of your personal data. You may also ask for a copy of certain information in a portable format.

9. Cookies

ORION RICH does not intentionally use non-essential advertising or analytics cookies on this website. Third-party websites, including Instagram and TikTok, may use cookies under their own policies.

The screener uses essential authentication cookies to keep you signed in and protect access to your private workspace.

We may update this policy where needed to reflect changes to the giveaway or applicable law. The latest version will always be published on this page.
